Vieques Conservation and Historical Trust

The Vieques Conservation and Heritage Trust is non-profit Environmental Protection NGO located on a costal island of Puerto Rico. The complexity of site stems from the bilingual content between Spanish and English, and The Trust’s old web site was mash of English pages, Spanish pages, dead links, and confusing content. .

Our mandate was to align pages into easily translated Spanish to English pages, organize content, translate and re-post articles, highlight The Trust’s work, and make donations easy and accessible. The site features a booking calendar for tours, repeaters to present text-heavy content, and information regarding The Trust’s environmental work. The Trust can be viewed in Spanish/English using a translate process where users can view the site in the language of their choice. We organized the menu so the user’s subject matter can be found easily. WebWWorks has been retained to manage and update content on a regular basis. Changes to the site has been met with positive reviews and donation activity has increased.
